Alexandra headland is a tightly held beach side community, nestled between two major suburbs being Mooloolaba and Maroochydore. While it is a little suburb of only just over 3000 properties and only just over 800 houses, it is certainly on the tourist radar with its highly awarded beaches and surf clubs. One of the unique attributes of Alexandra Headland is its blend of million dollar prestige homes nestled among low rise unit complexes. A diverse mix of residents all share a love of being able to walk to the beach each morning, and enjoy a coastal lifestyle, irrespective of their income or budget.
The Golden Triangle, is the bordered by the streets of pacific terrace, Alexandra parade and Buderim Avenue, and is considered the premium location within Alexandra Headland primarily because of its easy walking distance to the beach and north facing streets, allowing the homes great northern views up the coastline toward Mount Coolum. Elevated parts of Alexandra Headland in areas such as the Tantula Road are the homes to exceptional properties with panoramic views and some exciting architecture. The main road Alexandra Parade has a number of local bars and restaurants and highly awarded coffee shops.
The Alexandra Surf Club and its popular Bluff bar is the melting pot for the locals to have a sunday beer with family and friend, right on the beachfront. The Wall, is known to locals as the place to sit and watch the sunset after a long day, or an ideal vantage point to watch the surfers. The Alexandra Headland Community Association has been very active in the area resulting in lots of upgraded coastal pathways, park lands and a community garden located in Mari Street.
