Named after Mudjimba Island (better known as Old Woman Island) this coastal suburb was developed following the construction of the David Low Way coastal road in the early 1960s. This secluded suburb is surrounded on two sides by the surf beach of the Pacific Ocean and the calm water of the Maroochy River.
Nature lovers find Mudjimba to be an oasis of unspoilt wilderness all within a short drive of Sunshine Coast hotspots like Coolum, Noosa and Maroochydore. Mudjimba offers holiday makers up market apartments, self-contained units and camping.
